The human face is a mirror of what we have inside, with its huge communicative power. The evocative charm of human faces are reinterpreted in this section with the technique of collage on paper.

Herbs and their forms, their hidden powers, their undeniable charm are the absolute protagonists of this gallery. But these are certainly not botanical illustrations created in a classical way: rather they are free graphical interpretations that link more on mythology and legends about herbs and plants than on their aesthetic form. Certainly a touch of magic is always present in every plant form of the universe.

The Indian sheets of the AUROBINDO HAND MADE PAPER FACTORY are special and have unique patterns and brilliant colours. Ever since I discovered them, visiting the factory in Pondicherry, I stocked up many sheets and when I create a collage I use almost always those wonderful papers.
